Hi, welcome to my kitesurfing Blog. My name's Roo Hamer and i've collected together some photographs and a few video clips of some of my kitesurfing. I ride a Cabrinha Custom and fly Cabrinha Switchblade kites. My current tricks include F16 to surface pass, megaloops, various grabs (with my trade grab being the Nuclear), the 313, the kiteloop handlepass and the S-Bend. The most advanced trick i've nailed is the low mobe which i'm pretty happy about! Currently looking for a sponsor - if you are interested email me on rupertjhamer@hotmail.com!

Hope you enjoy it!

Pagham Harbour at just after high tide - ultra flat water and a few extra knots of current as the harbour begins to empty add to the apparent windspeed on a north-westerly - one of the few spots on the south coast near me where a NE wind isn't offshore...
Zanzibar at Paje beach at fairly near low tide - the lagoon inside the reef at this point nearly empties dry and in places is only a few centimetres deep - the colour of the water is simply amazing as you can see!

A couple of compilations -

Nuclear Grab (left) and Kiteloop Handlepass (right)
Watergate Bay with some nice waves for kickers - play it in HD/1080p!

Another shot at Pagham Harbour - kiting in the estuary is now banned as it was supposedly disturbing some of the local birdlife....

Ok so it's not kiting but there's a board involved!

Way back in 2005 in Egypt - Ok so it's not kiting but there's a board involved (again!)
